Can I ask you a question?

Do you think sometimes you are not smart enough for something? Do you sometimes hope someone else stands up for something you care about? Do you sometimes wish to be heard?

I know all the feelings and I often stayed silenced afraid to not be heard or even to be insulted for what I believe. But lately I listened to the song “I will not go speechless”and I started asking myself: What would be something I would finally stand up for? What do I have to do to lose my fear?

What would be your answer? What is the one thing your heart desires to stand up for?

For me at least the fear not being heard remained and the question, should not someone smarter do that? But what does it matter to be smart if you don’t use the ability to inspire and reach out to people? Maybe it’s not enough to be smart, what we need is to be intelligent.

Intelligence = Ability [of people] to think abstractly and reasonably and to derive useful action from it.

So don’t just desire to be smart but to be intelligent. It does not matter if there is someone smarter, it just matters what you do with your knowledge and why not stand up fo what you are passionate about and why not make a difference?
